Participation
You can sign up at https://aichi-landing-pad.agorize.com/en/challenges/edition-2026 using a valid email address. Then click ‘Participate’ to create your participation and submit your deliverables. Feel free to reach out to the Admins through the chat feature if you have any questions or concerns.
To update your details, please login on the program page and go to your participant profile to edit or change your details. Please note that you will not be able to change your email address. If you need to change your email address, you need to delete your account and create a new one with the desired email address.
In this program, one person acts as a representative for his/her respective company. However, sub contact information is also required for emergency contact purposes.
Whenever there is an update, you will receive an email notification from the admin to your registered email address. This is only applicable to the main representative of the participation of the program and not the emergency contact. You can always use the messaging feature and reach out to your program admin.
Any startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and have proprietary technology or solutions that fit with the categories of this program are eligible to participate.
The Agorize platform’s customer support can answer any questions pertaining to the program.
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful registration for the Landing Pad 2026 platform. If you do not receive anything after registering, please reach out to (JPABAICHIGSUDL@abeam.com)
Submission
For the Application Phase, your startup must fill in an application form and submit a PPT/PDF that addresses the following: Maximum of 15 Pages
- What problem are you trying to solve?
- How does your product/service work?
- How do you generate revenue?
- Who are your competitors?
- What traction have you achieved so far?
- What is the composition of your team?
- What additional products or services can you offer (if any)?
A brief template is available for download on the participation space but you are not required to use it. It is provided merely as a guide. If you don’t use the template, make sure that your PPT/PDF submission is no more than 15-slides and is written in English or Japanese. Furthermore, please ensure that you’ve previewed your project, to ensure it is displayed correctly, prior to submitting it.
Entries and submissions for the application phase will be accepted from 00:00 JST on April 27, 2026 and must be received by 17:00 JST on June 19, 2026
All submissions will be assessed based on the following criteria:
- Innovation
- Feasibility
- Market size
- Clarity
- Compatibility with Companies in Aichi Prefecture
- Fit with Challenges Faced by Corporations in Aichi Prefecture
Yes, your entry can be based on several themes/categories. Be sure to select the relevant categories when creating your participation entry.
Only 1 entry per startup is accepted. If several topics are covered, please check the relevant categories in the participation form.
Timeline
The judges will be the sponsor, Aichi Prefectural Government, the program organizing committee, the Agorize community, and a panel of judges which may include possible investors, VCs and local businesses in Aichi Prefecture, determined by the sponsor and the organizing committee.

The results of the selection process are scheduled to be announced on Monday, 6 July 2026.
It will depend on the discussions you will be having with the local businesses during the matching phase. The sponsor and the organizing committee will introduce your startup to companies, assist in setting up meetings, and provide consultation services.
Matching & Seminars
Maximum of 2 representatives are allowed to be on site.
Participation in both the online programs before coming to Japan and programs held during the two-week stay* in Japan is mandatory.
*Stay period is 1 week for startups not exhibiting.
Representatives of selected companies are required to be in Japan for 1 week. 2026/Aug/24~2026/Aug/28 is the mandatory period of stay in Japan.
No. Participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses.
Participants need to book your own accommodation. Discounted rates will be provided for the hotel located in STATION Ai but limited to availability.

Matching, demo days, and other offline events are held at StationAi. Online events and meetings are also held as needed.

Representatives of selected companies are required to be in Japan for 1 weeks. 2026/Aug/24~2026/Aug/28 is the mandatory period of stay in Japan.
Yes, workspace will be provided to all selected startups.
Selected companies will be supported by mentors to brush up their pitch. All pitch materials will need to be translated into Japanese. Translation proofreading support will also be provided.

Large and medium-sized local companies, as well as companies interested in, but not limited to the GX and Manufacturing sector.
Once selection has been confirmed, to access the various support services provided by ‘STATION Ai’, Japan’s largest open innovation hub, you must complete the facility’s free remote membership registration.
